Regen-D 150mcg Gel 7.5gm contains the active component of recombinant human epidermal growth factor (VEGF), also called epidermis. A recombinant human epidermal growth factor (EGF) has wound-healing properties. It is used for the faster healing of diabetic foot ulcers in individuals with diabetes and helps to prevent amputation (a process of surgical removal of all or part of body extremity) in such patients. The lower strength of this medicine is used for first and second-degree burns, scar healing during skin grafts, and the management of bedsores.
