MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF NOVOMERO S 1.5GM INJECTION

Novomero S 1.5gm Injection contains Meropenam 1000mg and Sulbactam 500mg used to treat severe bacterial infections such as Bacterial meningitis, Pneumonia, Skin, and skin structure infections, and Intra-abdominal infections. Mainly this infection affects the lungs, skin, and skin structures, abdomen, and brain. Meromac is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria that cause infections. Sulbactam is a lactamase inhibitor. It should be given with antibiotic, which works by inhibiting the lactamase enzyme (destroys the action of antibiotics) produced by bacteria.  The combination of this medicine helps to fight against microbes and also prevents the growth of bacteria. This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms that occur due to viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial and parasitic infections.
